Chapter 210 Oregon Laws 2001
AN ACT
HB 5033
Relating to the financial
administration of the State Parks and Recreation Department; limiting
expenditures; and declaring an emergency.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1.
Notwithstanding any other law, the
following amounts are established for the biennium beginning July 1, 2001, as
the maximum limit for payment of expenses from fees, moneys or other revenues,
including Miscellaneous Receipts, but excluding lottery funds and federal
funds, collected or received by the State Parks and Recreation Department for
the following purposes:
(1) Administration................................... $ 20,107,625
(2) Grant programs................................. $ 5,309,901
(3) Operations.......................................... $ 43,607,320
(4) Facility repair and maintenance....... $ 3,615,358
SECTION 2.
Notwithstanding any other law, the
following amounts are established for the biennium beginning July 1, 2001, as
the maximum limit for payment of expenses from lottery moneys allocated from
the Parks and Natural Resources Fund to the State Parks and Recreation
Department for the following purposes:
(1) Administration................................... $ 12,160,817
(2) Land acquisition................................ $ 4,000,000
(3) Grant programs................................. $ 4,500,000
(4) Operations.......................................... $ 9,845,556
(5) Facility repair and maintenance....... $ 15,262,108
SECTION 3.
Notwithstanding any other law, the
following amounts are established for the biennium beginning July 1, 2001, as
the maximum limit for payment of expenses from federal funds collected or
received by the State Parks and Recreation Department for the following
purposes:
(1) Administration................................... $ 2,100,448
(2) Grant programs................................. $ 3,718,866
(3) Operations.......................................... $ 1,498,497
(4) Facility repair and maintenance....... $ 1,465,000
SECTION 4.
Section 2 of this 2001 Act does not
limit, affect or apply to expenditures from the Oregon Parks Donation Trust
Fund.
SECTION 5.
Notwithstanding any other law, all
sections of this 2001 Act are subject to Oregon Department of Administrative
Services rules related to allotting, controlling, and encumbering funds.
SECTION 6.
This 2001 Act being necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is
declared to exist, and this 2001 Act takes effect July 1, 2001.
