Chapter 272 Oregon Laws 2001
AN ACT
HB 5003
Relating to the financial
administration of the Commission for the Blind; appropriating money; limiting
expenditures; and declaring an emergency.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1.
There is appropriated to the Commission
for the Blind, for the biennium beginning July 1, 2001, out of the General
Fund, the amount of $1,302,438.
SECTION 2.
Notwithstanding any other law, the
amount of $2,185,200 is established for the biennium beginning July 1, 2001, as
the maximum limit for payment of expenses from fees, moneys or other revenues,
including Miscellaneous Receipts, but excluding lottery funds and federal
funds, collected or received by the Commission for the Blind.
SECTION 3.
Notwithstanding any other law, the
amount of $8,439,052 is established for the biennium beginning July 1, 2001, as
the maximum limit for the payment of expenses from federal funds collected or
received by the Commission for the Blind.
SECTION 4.
Notwithstanding any other law, all
sections of this 2001 Act are subject to Oregon Department of Administrative
Services rules related to allotting, controlling, and encumbering funds.
SECTION 5.
This 2001 Act being necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is
declared to exist, and this 2001 Act takes effect July 1, 2001.
