Chapter 603 Oregon Laws 2001
AN ACT
SB 5503
Relating to the financial
administration of certain commissions; appropriating money; limiting
expenditures; and declaring an emergency.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1.
There is appropriated to the Commission
on Asian Affairs, for the biennium beginning July 1, 2001, out of the General
Fund, the amount of $141,508.
SECTION 2.
Notwithstanding any other law, the
amount of $30,586 is established for the biennium beginning July 1, 2001, as
the maximum limit for payment of expenses from fees, moneys or other revenues,
including Miscellaneous Receipts, but excluding lottery funds and federal
funds, collected or received by the Commission on Asian Affairs.
SECTION 3.
There is appropriated to the Commission
on Black Affairs, for the biennium beginning July 1, 2001, out of the General
Fund, the amount of $141,508.
SECTION 4.
Notwithstanding any other law, the
amount of $20,054 is established for the biennium beginning July 1, 2001, as
the maximum limit for payment of expenses from fees, moneys or other revenues,
including Miscellaneous Receipts, but excluding lottery funds and federal
funds, collected or received by the Commission on Black Affairs.
SECTION 5.
There is appropriated to the Commission
on Hispanic Affairs, for the biennium beginning July 1, 2001, out of the
General Fund, the amount of $70,708.
SECTION 6.
Notwithstanding any other law, the
amount of $42,541 is established for the biennium beginning July 1, 2001, as
the maximum limit for payment of expenses from fees, moneys or other revenues,
including Miscellaneous Receipts, but excluding lottery funds and federal
funds, collected or received by the Commission on Hispanic Affairs.
SECTION 7.
There is appropriated to the Commission
for Women, for the biennium beginning July 1, 2001, out of the General Fund,
the amount of $141,508.
SECTION 8.
Notwithstanding any other law, the
amount of $79,408 is established for the biennium beginning July 1, 2001, as
the maximum limit for payment of expenses from fees, moneys or other revenues,
including Miscellaneous Receipts, but excluding lottery funds and federal
funds, collected or received by the Commission for Women.
SECTION 9.
(1) In addition to and not in lieu of
any other appropriation, there is appropriated to the Emergency Board, out of
the General Fund, for the biennium beginning July 1, 2001, the sum of $70,800
for allocation to the Commission on Hispanic Affairs for second-year
operations.
(2) If any of the moneys
described in subsection (1) of this section are not allocated or obligated by
the Emergency Board prior to July 1, 2002, the unallocated and unobligated
moneys on that date become available for any other purpose for which the Emergency
Board may lawfully allocate moneys.
SECTION 10.
Notwithstanding any other law, all
sections of this 2001 Act are subject to Oregon Department of Administrative
Services rules related to allotting, controlling, and encumbering funds.
SECTION 11.
This 2001 Act being necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is
declared to exist, and this 2001 Act takes effect July 1, 2001.
