Relating to public contracting; creating new provisions; and amending ORS 279.363.

Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:

SECTION 1. ORS 279.363 is amended to read:

279.363. Public contracting agencies shall notify the Commissioner of the Bureau of Labor and Industries in writing, on a form prescribed by the commissioner, whenever a contract subject to the provisions of ORS 279.348 to 279.380 has been awarded. [This] The notification shall be made within 30 days of the date that such contract is awarded. The notification shall include a copy of the disclosure of first-tier subcontractors that was submitted under ORS 279.027.

SECTION 2. The amendments to ORS 279.363 by section 1 of this 2001 Act first apply to public contracts awarded on or after the effective date of this 2001 Act.
