Chapter 773 Oregon Laws 2001
AN ACT
SB 5518
Relating to the financial
administration of the State Department of Fish and Wildlife; appropriating
money; limiting expenditures; and declaring an emergency.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1.
There are appropriated to the State
Department of Fish and Wildlife, for the biennium beginning July 1, 2001, out
of the General Fund, the following amounts for the following purposes:
(1) Fish Division
(a) Fish Propagation.................. $ 7,680,028
(b) Fish Natural Production...... $ 2,210,296
(c) Fish Marine Resources........ $ 1,703,061
(d) Fish Interjurisdictional
Fisheries................................ $ 908,017
(2) Wildlife Division
(a) Wildlife Game....................... $ 664,153
(b) Wildlife Habitat.................... $ 531,070
(c) Wildlife Diversity................. $ 743,306
(3) Habitat Division.................... $ 1,814,066
(4) Administration Division....... $ 4,038,156
(5) Capital Improvement........... $ 211,779
SECTION 2.
Notwithstanding any other law, the
following amounts are established for the biennium beginning July 1, 2001, as
the maximum limits for payment of expenses from fees, moneys or other revenues,
including Miscellaneous Receipts, but excluding lottery funds and federal
funds, collected or received by the State Department of Fish and Wildlife, for
the following purposes:
(1) Fish Division

(d) Fish Interjurisdictional

SECTION 3.
Notwithstanding any other law, the
amount of $10,532,273 is established for the biennium beginning July 1, 2001,
as the maximum limit for the payment of expenses from lottery moneys allocated
from the Parks and Natural Resources Fund to the State Department of Fish and
Wildlife, for activities and projects to implement section 4 (5), Article XV of
the Oregon Constitution.
SECTION 4.
Notwithstanding any other law, the
following amounts are established for the biennium beginning July 1, 2001, as
the maximum limits for the payment of expenses from federal funds collected or
received by the State Department of Fish and Wildlife, for the following
purposes:
(1) Fish Division

SECTION 5.
Section 2 of this 2001 Act does not
limit, affect or apply to expenditures for debt service on Certificates of
Participation.
SECTION 6.
Notwithstanding any other law, all
sections of this 2001 Act are subject to Oregon Department of Administrative
Services rules related to allotting, controlling and encumbering funds.
SECTION 7.
This 2001 Act being necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is
declared to exist, and this 2001 Act takes effect July 1, 2001.
