Chapter 939 Oregon Laws 2001
AN ACT

Relating to the Mid-Columbia
Veterans Memorial Complex; appropriating money; and declaring an emergency.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1.
(1) There is appropriated to the Oregon
Department of Administrative Services, for the biennium beginning July 1, 2001,
out of the General Fund, the amount of $25,000 for the construction of the
Mid-Columbia Veterans Memorial Complex in The Dalles, Oregon.
(2) The department shall
transfer the moneys appropriated under this section to the Mid-Columbia
Veterans' Memorial Committee upon the condition that the committee use the
moneys solely for the construction of the memorial complex and upon such other
conditions that the department considers necessary.
SECTION 2.
This 2001 Act being necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is
declared to exist, and this 2001 Act take effect July 1, 2001.
