  On page 1 of the printed A-engrossed bill, line 4, after '
money;' insert 'limiting expenditures;'.
  On page 4, after line 23, insert:
  '  { +  SECTION 16. + }  { + Notwithstanding any other law, the
amount of $718,943 is established for the biennium beginning July
1, 2001, as the maximum limit for payment of expenses from fees,
moneys or other revenues, including Miscellaneous Receipts, but
excluding lottery funds and federal funds, collected or received
by the Department of Environmental Quality for the purpose of
carrying out the amendments to ORS 466.720 and 466.785 by
sections 1 and 5 of this 2001 Act and sections 3, 4, 9, 12, 13
and 15 of this 2001 Act. + } ' .
  In line 24, delete '16' and insert '17'.
  In line 26, delete '17' and insert '18'.
