On page 1 of the printed bill, line 2, after 'ORS' delete the
rest of the line and line 3 and insert '419C.610.'.
In line 9, delete 'and 4' and insert 'to 5'.
In line 12, after 'person' delete the rest of the line.
In line 13, delete 'venile court'.
On page 2, delete lines 32 through 45 and delete pages 3
through 8 and insert:
' { + SECTION 5. + } { + If a person seeking relief under
section 3 of this 2001 Act is over 18 years of age and is no
longer within the jurisdiction of the juvenile court, the
petition must be filed within two years of the following, unless
the court on hearing a subsequent petition finds grounds for
relief asserted therein that could not reasonably have been
raised in the original petition or an amended petition:
' (1) If no appeal is taken, the date the juvenile court
adjudication was entered in the register.
' (2) If an appeal is taken, the date the appeal is final in
the Oregon appellate courts. + }
' { + SECTION 6. + } { + A person described in section 5 of
this 2001 Act whose adjudication or appeal became final before
the effective date of this 2001 Act may file a petition seeking
relief under section 3 of this 2001 Act no later than two years
