  On page 1 of the printed bill, line 2, after 'devices; ' insert
'creating new provisions;'.
  In line 6, delete 'or county' and insert 'with a population of
30,000 or more'.
  In line 8, after the period insert 'Notwithstanding the
population requirement of this section, the City of Newberg may
operate cameras as provided for other cities in this section.'.
  In line 17, delete 'or county'.
  In line 26, restore the bracketed material and delete '
demonstration'.
  In line 27, restore the bracketed material and delete '
projects to the Seventy-first' and insert 'use of cameras under
this section to each regular session of the'.
  In line 29, delete 'or county' and restore the bracketed
material.
  In line 30, restore 'by section 1' and after '1' insert ' ,
chapter 851, Oregon Laws 1999,'.
  On page 3, after line 1, insert:
  '  { +  SECTION 3. + }  { + (1) Except as otherwise provided in
subsection (2) of this section, a city authorized to operate
cameras under section 1, chapter 851, Oregon Laws 1999, may not
operate the cameras at more than four intersections in the city.
  ' (2) A city with a population of 300,000 or more may not
operate cameras at more than eight intersections in the city. + }
