                        A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to hunter safety.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
  SECTION 1.  { + The State Fish and Wildlife Commission shall
adopt a rule to require that persons, while actively engaged in
hunting with a firearm, wear at least 400 square inches of hunter
orange clothing above the waist and visible from all sides. The
commission may not apply the rule adopted under this section to
persons hunting only wild turkeys or waterfowl. + }
  SECTION 2.  { + This 2001 Act is repealed on June 30, 2002. + }
