  Requires trial of defendant within 60 days after arrest absent
consent of defendant or extension. Allows extension of custody
and postponement of trial upon showing of good cause.
 
                        A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to criminal procedure; repealing sections 3, 4 and 5,
  chapter 923, Oregon Laws 1999.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
  SECTION 1.  { + Sections 3 (amending ORS 136.290), 4 (amending
ORS 136.295) and 5, chapter 923, Oregon Laws 1999, are
repealed. + }
