  Directs Oregon Department of Administrative Services to
designate funds to support programs or foundations that promote
access to health care in rural areas.
 
                        A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to funding for access to rural health care.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
  SECTION 1.  { + In order to promote quality health care for all
Oregonians, the Oregon Department of Administrative Services
shall designate $___ to support programs or foundations that
promote improved health care services and increased access to
quality health care in rural areas of this state. The department
shall designate the funds in a manner that maximizes access to
other governmental or private sources of funding. The department
shall adopt rules that define the types of programs and
foundations eligible to receive funds under this section. + }
