Appropriates moneys to Mental Health and Developmental
Disability Services Division for costs of atypical antipsychotic
medications for persons in atypical antipsychotic medications
pilot program.
Declares emergency, effective on passage.
A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to mental health; appropriating money; and declaring an
emergency.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1. { + In addition to and not in lieu of any other
appropriation, there is appropriated to the Mental Health and
Developmental Disability Services Division, for the biennium
beginning July 1, 2001, out of the General Fund, the amount of
$___, which may be expended for the costs of providing atypical
antipsychotic medications to persons in the pilot program under
section 2, chapter 994, Oregon Laws 1999. + }
SECTION 2. { + This 2001 Act being necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency
is declared to exist, and this 2001 Act takes effect on its
passage. + }
