  On page 1 of the printed bill, line 2, after 'disabilities '
insert a period and delete the rest of the line and line 3.
  Delete lines 5 through 31 and delete pages 2 and 3 and insert:
  '  { +  SECTION 1. + }  { + Section 2 of this 2001 Act is added
to and made a part of ORS 30.260 to 30.300. + }
  '  { +  SECTION 2. + }  { + (1) As used in this section,
'public body ' includes:
  ' (a) Every state agency, department, division, bureau, board
and commission;
  ' (b) Every county and city governing body, school district,
special district and municipal corporation and any board,
department, commission, council or agency thereof;
  ' (c) The Oregon State Bar;
  ' (d) The Oregon Health Sciences University;
  ' (e) Any other public agency of this state; and
  ' (f) Every officer, employee or agent of the public body.
  ' (2) Every public body is subject to action under Title II of
the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, 42 U.S.C. 12131 to
12134. + }
  '  { +  SECTION 3. + }  { + Section 2 of this 2001 Act applies
only to acts or omissions by a public body on or after the
effective date of this 2001 Act. + } ' .
