                         Amended Summary
  Prohibits local governments from setting minimum wage
requirements except for certain public employers, in
specifications for public contracts or as condition for direct
tax abatement or subsidies to employer with   { - 50 - }
 { + 10 + } or more employees.
 
Speaker Simmons:
  Your Conference Committee to whom was referred B-engrossed
House Bill 2744, having had the same under consideration,
respectfully reports it back with the recommendation that the
House concur in the Senate amendments dated June 5 and that the
bill be amended as follows and repassed.
 
  In line 22 of the printed B-engrossed bill, delete '50' and
insert '10'.
