  On page 1 of the printed bill, delete lines 6 through 29 and
insert:
  '  { +  SECTION 2. + }  { + (1) Each school district board
shall adopt a policy that establishes a procedure to notify a
substitute teacher of the removal of the substitute teacher from
the list of eligible substitute teachers maintained by the school
district or by an individual school within the school district.
  ' (2) The notification to a substitute teacher of the removal
from the list required by subsection (1) of this section may
include the reasons for the removal of the substitute teacher.
  ' (3) This section does not apply to a board of a school
district that employs substitute teachers who are represented by
a bargaining unit. + } ' .
