  Directs State Fish and Wildlife Commission to create system for
renewal of hunting and fishing licenses by mail.
 
                        A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to licenses issued by State Fish and Wildlife
  Commission.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
  SECTION 1.  { + Section 2 of this 2001 Act is added to and made
a part of the wildlife laws. + }
  SECTION 2.  { + (1) The State Fish and Wildlife Commission
shall adopt a system for renewing licenses issued under ORS
497.102 and 497.121 by mail.
  (2) The commission shall issue a renewal notice by regular
mail, no later than December 1, to each person whose license
issued under ORS 497.102 or 497.121 expires on December 31 of
that year. The renewal notice shall contain instructions for
renewing the license by mail. + }
  SECTION 3.  { + The State Fish and Wildlife Commission shall
adopt and implement a system for renewing licenses by mail no
later than July 1, 2003. + }
