  On page 1 of the printed bill, line 2, after 'commerce ' insert
a period and delete the rest of the line.
  Delete lines 4 through 30 and delete page 2 and insert:
  '  { +  SECTION 1. + }  { + The Economic and Community
Development Department may:
  ' (1) Establish programs necessary to communicate Oregon's
advantages as a premier location from which to engage in
electronic commerce;
  ' (2) Adopt rules necessary to establish the programs described
in subsection (1) of this section; and
  ' (3) Accept contributions of funds for the operation of the
programs described in subsection (1) of this section. The
department shall pay the funds received into an appropriate fund
or account under ORS 285A.200. + } ' .
