AN ACT
Relating to Oregon Renewable Energy Center.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1. { + Section 2 of this 2001 Act is added to and made
a part of ORS chapter 352. + }
SECTION 2. { + (1) Pursuant to ORS 351.870, there is created
within the Department of Higher Education the Oregon Renewable
Energy Center. The Oregon Renewable Energy Center shall be
administered by the Oregon Institute of Technology.
(2) The purpose of the Oregon Renewable Energy Center is to
engage in renewable energy system engineering and applied
research.
(3) The Department of Higher Education may receive moneys from
any public or private source to support the Oregon Renewable
Energy Center. Gifts and grants received to support the Oregon
Renewable Energy Center shall be credited to the appropriate fund
at the Oregon Institute of Technology by the Department of Higher
Education. + }
