  Authorizes county to adopt ordinance to transfer jurisdiction
of county road automatically to city that annexes territory that
includes road.
 
                        A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to county roads.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
  SECTION 1.  { + (1) Notwithstanding ORS 373.270, a county may
adopt an ordinance that would transfer jurisdiction of a county
road to a city automatically when the city annexes territory that
includes the road.
  (2) If a county passes an ordinance described in subsection (1)
of this section, the county and a city that annexes territory
that includes a county road shall negotiate for the transfer of
funds between the county and the city for the maintenance of the
transferred road. + }
