shall' and insert 'may'.
  In line 8, after 'on' insert 'evaluation'.
  In line 11, delete 'evaluated' and after the semicolon insert
'and'.
  Delete line 12.
  In line 13, delete '(D)' and insert '(C)' and delete '
evaluated'.
  In line 15, after 'objectives' insert a period and delete the
rest of the line.
  On page 2, line 8, after 'using' insert 'any procurement method
available that is best suited to the intended purpose of the
state, subject to ORS chapter 279, including'.
  In line 9, delete 'However,'.
  In line 12, before the period insert ', subject to ORS chapter
279'.
  In line 25, after '2' insert '(1)'.
  In line 27, after 'report' insert 'by January 15, 2003,'.
  In line 29, after 'Act' delete the rest of the line and insert
'and on the relationship between the implementation of sections 1
and 2 of this 2001 Act and a comprehensive evaluation of ORS
chapter 279.'.
