A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to estuary zones.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1. In conjunction with affected local governments and
state and federal agencies that have jurisdiction over lands with
estuaries, activities in estuaries and flood mitigation, the Land
Conservation and Development Commission shall evaluate whether
dredging of material from estuaries to mitigate flooding should
be authorized and report the results of the evaluation to the
Seventy-second Legislative Assembly no later than January 3,
2003.
