  On page 1 of the printed bill, line 3, after 'planted ' insert
'or growing'.
  Delete lines 4 through 6 and insert 'growth boundaries of
cities, are a valuable component of the state's transportation
system; and
  ' Whereas this resource has not been adequately maintained in
relation to other highway infrastructure items such as pavement,
sidewalks and signage; and'.
  In line 17, after 'provide' insert 'matching'.
  In line 18, before the period insert 'within urban growth
boundaries'.
  In line 26, delete 'oversee' and insert 'advise the State
Forester on'.
  On page 2, delete lines 6 through 8 and insert:
  ' (5) The State Forester shall adopt rules specifying the
process by which communities may apply for matching grants under
this section and the standards to be used in awarding grants.'.
  In line 11, after 'planted' insert 'or growing'.
  In line 12, delete 'Prior to any other' and insert 'After any'
and after 'moneys' insert 'to cities and counties'.
  In line 13, delete '25' and insert '20'.
