  In line 2 of the printed bill, after 'funding' insert '; and
declaring an emergency'.
  In line 11, delete 'shall be' and insert 'is'.
  Delete line 14 and insert 'biennially pursuant to the change in
the Consumer Price Index, as defined in ORS 327.006, between
January 1, 2001, and January 1 immediately preceding commencement
of the biennium.'.
  After line 30, insert:
  '  { +  SECTION 4. + }  { + This 2001 Act being necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and
safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this 2001 Act
takes effect July 1, 2001. + } ' .
