  On page 1 of the printed bill, line 7, after '822.040 ' delete
the rest of the line and lines 8 and 9 and insert 'would sell to
the buyer, and the buyer would buy from the dealer, the
manufactured dwelling that is covered by the purchase agreement,
if the sale were a sale for cash. 'Cash sale price' includes'.
  In line 13, delete '90.100' and insert '446.003'.
  Delete lines 14 through 26 and insert:
  ' (5) 'Purchase agreement' means the agreement between the
manufactured dwelling dealer and the buyer for the purchase of a
manufactured dwelling.'.
  In line 28, delete 'sales contract' and insert 'purchase
agreement'.
  In line 30, delete 'sales contract' and insert 'purchase
agreement'.
  In line 31, delete the comma and insert 'or' and delete ' or
are based on a good faith estimate'.
  On page 2, line 2, after 'dealer' insert a comma and after '
party' delete the rest of the line.
  In line 3, delete 'buyer' and insert 'at the request of the
dealer,'.
  Delete lines 9 through 11 and insert:
  ' (d) An estimate of the costs generally associated with the
initial placement of a manufactured dwelling in a facility.'.
  In line 13, after 'financing' insert ', including but not
limited to loan fees and credit report fees'.
  In line 14, delete 'sales contract' and insert 'purchase
agreement' and delete 'include' and insert 'be accompanied by'.
  In line 16, delete 'sales contract' and insert 'purchase
agreement'.
  In line 17, delete 'sales contract' and insert 'purchase
agreement'.
  After line 19, insert:
  ' (5) A purchase agreement is considered to contain all of the
terms of the contract between the buyer and the manufactured
dwelling dealer. Other evidence of the terms of the contract is
not allowed unless a mistake or imperfection in the purchase
agreement is put in issue or the validity of the contract is in
dispute. This subsection does not exclude other evidence of the
circumstances under which the contract was made or extrinsic
evidence to explain an intrinsic or extrinsic ambiguity or to
establish illegality or fraud.'.
  In line 20, delete 'Department of Transportation, in
consultation with the'.
  In line 21, delete the comma.
  In line 22, delete 'sales contract' and insert 'purchase
agreement'.
  On page 4, after line 20, insert:
  '  { +  SECTION 5. + }  { + Sections 1 to 3 of this 2001 Act
apply to manufactured dwelling sales for which the buyer signs a
 
purchase agreement on or after the effective date of this 2001
Act. + } ' .
