Transfers moneys from Health Care Trust Fund to various
agencies.
Declares emergency, effective on passage.
A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to the Health Care Trust Fund; and declaring an
emergency.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1. { + There is transferred to the Department of Human
Services, Health Division, for the biennium beginning July 1,
2001, the amount of $10,000,000 from the Health Care Trust Fund
established by section 1, chapter ___, Oregon Laws 2001 (Enrolled
House Bill 3951), for the Oregon Health Plan. All transfers under
this section shall be made according to a schedule established by
the Oregon Department of Administrative Services. + }
SECTION 2. { + There is transferred to the Department of Human
Services, for the biennium beginning July 1, 2001, the amount of
$30,000,000 from the Health Care Trust Fund established by
section 1, chapter ___, Oregon Laws 2001 (Enrolled House Bill
3951), to be distributed to counties for mental health and public
health programs. All transfers under this section shall be made
according to a schedule established by the Oregon Department of
Administrative Services. + }
SECTION 3. { + There is transferred to Oregon Health and
Science University, for the biennium beginning July 1, 2001, the
amount of $10,000,000 from the Health Care Trust Fund established
by section 1, chapter ___, Oregon Laws 2001 (Enrolled House Bill
3951). All transfers under this section shall be made according
to a schedule established by the Oregon Department of
Administrative Services. + }
SECTION 4. { + This 2001 Act being necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency
is declared to exist, and this 2001 Act takes effect on its
passage. + }
