  In line 2 of the printed bill, after the first semicolon insert
'creating new provisions; amending section 3, chapter 288, Oregon
Laws 1999;'.
  In line 6, delete '$3,194,359' and insert '$3,191,792'.
  In line 7, delete '$5,108,984' and insert '$5,103,488'.
  In line 11, delete '$3,632,847' and insert '$3,932,219'.
  After line 13, insert:
  '  { +  SECTION 4. + } Section 3, chapter 288, Oregon Laws
1999, is amended to read:  { +
  ' Sec. 3.  + }Notwithstanding any other law, the amount of
  { - $3,554,335 - }  { +  $4,066,968 + } is established for the
biennium beginning July 1, 1999, as the maximum limit for the
payment of expenses from federal funds collected or received by
the State Library.'.
  In line 14, delete '4' and insert '5'.
  In line 17, delete '5' and insert '6'.
  In line 19, delete 'July 1, 2001' and insert 'on its passage'.
