SUMMARY
The following summary is not prepared by the sponsors of the
measure and is not a part of the body thereof subject to
consideration by the Legislative Assembly. It is an editor's
brief statement of the essential features of the measure as
introduced.
Appropriates moneys from General Fund to Department of
Corrections.
Limits biennial expenditures from fees, moneys or other
revenues, including Miscellaneous Receipts, excluding lottery
funds and federal funds and lottery funds, collected or received
by various state agencies.
Limits biennial expenditures of various state agencies from
federal funds.
Excludes expenditures for interest payments while facilities
are under construction, bond counsel and underwriters' fees,
legal fees or other fees associated with financing from
expenditure limitations.
Establishes Department of Corrections Account in General Fund.
Subjects agencies to Oregon Department of Administrative
Services allotment process.
Declares emergency, effective July 1, 2001.
A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to state financial administration; appropriating money;
limiting expenditures; and declaring an emergency.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:

appropriation, there is appropriated to the Department of
Corrections, out of the General Fund, for the biennium beginning
July 1, 2001, the following amounts for the acquisition of land
and the acquisition, planning, constructing, altering, repairing,
