                      SENATE AMENDMENTS TO
              A-ENGROSSED HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION 45

  On page 3 of the printed A-engrossed joint resolution, line 19,
after the period insert 'Tax zones and rate limits may be
established under this subparagraph only if:
  ' (i) At the time the election is held, each proposed tax zone
contains at least five percent of the voters of the local taxing
district seeking to establish the zones; and
  ' (ii) The measure proposing the tax zones and rate limits is
approved by a majority of voters in each proposed tax zone.'.
