  On page 1 of the printed B-engrossed bill, line 2, after the
semicolon insert 'appropriating money; limiting expenditures;'.
  In line 5, after 'Industries' insert 'from gifts, grants and
donations made available for carrying out this section'.
  In line 11, after 'Industries' insert 'from gifts, grants and
donations made available for carrying out this section'.
  On page 3, after line 10, insert:
  '  { +  SECTION 6. + }  { + In addition to and not in lieu of
any other appropriation, there is appropriated to the State
Department of Geology and Mineral Industries, for the biennium
beginning July 1, 2001, out of the General Fund, the amount of
$1, which may be expended for the purpose of carrying out the
provisions of sections 1 and 2 (1) to (3) of this 2001 Act. + }
  '  { +  SECTION 7. + }  { + Notwithstanding any other law, the
amount of $1 is established for the biennium beginning July 1,
2001, as the maximum limit for payment of expenses from fees,
moneys or other revenues, including Miscellaneous Receipts, but
excluding lottery funds and federal funds, collected or received
by the State Department of Geology and Mineral Industries for the
purpose of carrying out the provisions of sections 1 and 2 (1) to
(3) of this 2001 Act. + } ' .
  In line 11, delete '6' and insert '8'.
