  Requires State Department of Fish and Wildlife to conduct study
examining relocation of offices. Allows consultation with other
departments. Requires department to report to joint legislative
committee.
 
                        A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to relocation of State Department of Fish and Wildlife
  offices.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
  SECTION 1.  { + (1) The State Department of Fish and Wildlife
shall conduct a study to examine the costs and benefits of
relocating the department's offices from Portland to Salem or to
the immediate vicinity of Salem.
  (2) The department may conduct the study in consultation with
the Oregon Department of Administrative Services and other
departments as necessary.
  (3) The State Department of Fish and Wildlife shall report its
findings to the joint legislative committee created pursuant to
ORS 171.551 by June 30, 2002. + }
