  On page 2 of the printed A-engrossed bill, line 16, after '
park' insert 'except that the department may not restrict or
prohibit the operation of a motor assisted scooter on a bicycle
lane or bicycle path in a state park if the operator of the motor
assisted scooter is disabled'.
  On page 4, after line 6, insert:
  ' (2) This section does not apply to a disabled person
operating a motor assisted scooter in a crosswalk.'.
  In line 7, delete '(2)' and insert '(3)'.
  On page 10, after line 11, insert:
  '  { +  SECTION 26. + }  { + After January 1, 2008, all motor
assisted scooters powered by gasoline and sold in this state
shall be equipped with four-stroke engines. + } ' .
