  On page 10 of the printed A-engrossed bill, delete lines 36
through 45 and insert:
  '  { +  SECTION 13. + }  { + Upon receiving a statement under
section 2 of this 2001 Act relating to a person holding the
office of state Representative or a person who is a candidate for
nomination or election to the office of state Representative, the
Secretary of State, not later than one business day after
receiving the statement, shall deliver a copy of the statement to
the Chief Clerk of the House of Representatives. + } ' .
  On page 11, line 1, after '14.' insert '(1)'.
  After line 3, insert:
  ' (2) Section 13 of this 2001 Act applies to statements filed
with the Secretary of State under section 2 of this 2001 Act on
or after the effective date of this 2001 Act.'.
