A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to public finance.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1. { + (1) As used in this section, 'public body' has
the meaning given that term in ORS 30.260.
(2) A public body that imposes a tax or fee to raise revenue
for a specified purpose, or that receives moneys through an
appropriation or otherwise from the state for a specified
purpose, may not spend the moneys raised or received for anything
that does not directly serve the specified purpose. + }
