  Requires public libraries to post notice informing patrons that
library records may be disclosed to law enforcement agencies.
 
                        A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to library records.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
  SECTION 1.  { + Section 2 of this 2001 Act is added to and made
a part of ORS 357.400 to 357.621. + }
  SECTION 2.  { + Every public library shall place a notice at
the circulation desk that reads, 'NOTICE: Records of library
patrons may be released to law enforcement agencies.' + }
