  On page 1 of the printed A-engrossed bill, line 4, after '
file' insert 'in the circuit court in which the judgment of
conviction was entered'.
  In line 11, after 'filed' insert 'in the circuit court'.
  On page 2, delete lines 1 through 4 and insert:
  ' (A) The identity of the perpetrator:
  ' (i) Was at issue in the trial that resulted in the conviction
of the person; or
  ' (ii) If the person was documented as having mental
retardation prior to the time the crime was committed, should
have been at issue in the trial or plea agreement that resulted
in the conviction of the person; and'.
  In line 17, after 'person' insert 'of the offense or of the
conduct'.
  On page 4, line 6, delete 'and'.
  In line 7, delete the period and insert '; and
  ' (6) Determine whether any problems have arisen related to
chain of custody of evidence if the evidence has not been
retained by a city, a county, the state or the court.'.
