                      SENATE AMENDMENTS TO

  On page 1 of the printed A-engrossed bill, line 4, delete '
Motor Pool' and insert 'State-owned Vehicle'.
  In line 5, delete 'seven' and insert 'nine'.
  In line 8, after 'Pool' insert 'Program'.
  After line 11, insert:
  ' (e) A representative from a state agency that owns and
operates its own vehicles.
  ' (f) A representative from a state agency that extensively
uses the motor pool services of the Oregon Department of
Administrative Services.'.
  In line 12, delete '(e)' and insert '(g)' and delete ' labor'
and insert 'the public employee union that represents public
employees who work for the state motor pool'.
  In line 15, delete 'standard passenger' and insert ' general
purpose' and after the second 'state-owned' delete the rest of
the line.
  Delete line 16 and insert 'general purpose vehicles with rental
vehicles from private sector companies for the conduct of state
business by state agencies. In its study of the feasibility of
replacing state-owned general purpose vehicles, the task force
shall consider the impact of replacement of the vehicles on the
overall cost of fleet operations. For the purposes of this
paragraph, 'general purpose vehicles' means standard passenger
vehicles, passenger vans and light duty trucks.'.
