  Urges United States Secretary of Agriculture to declare natural
resources disaster in Klamath County.
 
                         SENATE MEMORIAL
To the United States Secretary of Agriculture:
  We, your memorialists, the Senate of the State of Oregon, in
legislative session assembled, respectfully represent as follows:
  Whereas the State of Oregon is experiencing the second driest
winter on record; and
  Whereas as a result of the drought and actions taken to protect
endangered species, irrigators in Klamath County, Oregon, may be
left without water; now, therefore,
Be It Resolved by the Senate of the State of Oregon:
  (1) The United States Secretary of Agriculture is respectfully
requested to declare a natural resources disaster in Klamath
County, Oregon.
  (2) A copy of this memorial shall be sent to each member of the
Oregon Congressional Delegation.
