AN ACT

Relating to financial assistance for libraries; and declaring an emergency.

Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:

SECTION 1. The provisions of ORS 357.770 do not apply to the eligibility of a public library for state financial assistance for the 2003-2005 biennium.

SECTION 2. This 2003 Act being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this 2003 Act takes effect on its passage.
