AN ACT

HB 5059

Relating to the financial administration of the Department of Consumer and Business Services; and declaring an emergency.

Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:

SECTION 1. For the purpose of carrying out the provisions of ORS 291.055 (1)(e), the following new or increased fees, adopted by the Department of Consumer and Business Services and approved by the Oregon Department of Administrative Services, are approved:

(1) Electrical Program Permit Fees:

(a) Manufactured housing or

modular dwelling service

or feeder $ 63

(b) Service or feeder:

(A) 200 amps or less $ 79

(B) 201-400 amps $ 94

(C) 401-600 amps $ 156

(D) 601-1000 amps $ 204

(E) 1001 amps or more $ 469

(c) Service reconnection/

no location change $ 63

(d) Temporary service permit:

(A) 200 amps or less $ 63

(B) 201-400 amps $ 86

(C) 401-600 amps $ 125

(e) Branch circuit w/service or

(f) First branch circuit w/o

SECTION 2. For the purpose of carrying out the provisions of ORS 291.055 (1)(e), the increases in structural and mechanical plan review and permit fees resulting from adoption of the International Conference of Building Officials 2001 construction valuation table by the Department of Consumer and Business Services and approval by the Oregon Department of Administrative Services are approved.

SECTION 3. This 2003 Act being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this 2003 Act takes effect July 1, 2003.
