Chapter 647 Oregon Laws 2003

AN ACT

Relating to emergency communications; creating new provisions; and repealing sections 1, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 9, chapter 740, Oregon Laws 2001.

Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:

SECTION 1. Sections 1, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 9, chapter 740, Oregon Laws 2001, are repealed.

SECTION 2. (1) The Primary Public Safety Answering Points Consolidation Incentive Fund established in section 5, chapter 740, Oregon Laws 2001, is abolished.

(2) The Office of Emergency Management shall transfer all moneys in the fund and any interest earned on moneys in the fund to the Emergency Communications Account established in section 17, chapter 533, Oregon Laws 1981, for use as specified in sections 17 and 18, chapter 533, Oregon Laws 1981.
