Relating to the financial administration of the Department of State Police; and declaring an emergency.

Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:

SECTION 1. For the purpose of carrying out the provisions of ORS 291.055 (1)(e), the following new or increased fees, adopted by the Department of State Police, Office of the State Fire Marshal and approved by the Oregon Department of Administrative Services, are approved:

(1) Explosives:

(a) Magazine registration with

Office of State Fire Marshal

inspection fee........................... $ 125

(b) Magazine registration with

acceptance of BATF inspection

fee............................................ $ 50

(c) Examination fee....................... $ 30

(d) Certificate of possession

of explosives............................ $ 50

for three years

(2) Retail permit application fee.. $ 50

(3) Public display permit

application fee......................... $ 50

(4) Wholesale permit fees:

(a) In-state..................................... $ 2,500

annually

(b) Out-of-state............................. $ 2,500

annually

(5) Liquified petroleum gas:

(a) Company license for Oregon

business................................... $ 75

annually

(b) Tank installation notice........... $ 24

(c) Fitter license............................ $ 15

biennially

(d) Truck equipment operator

license...................................... $ 15

biennially

SECTION 2. This 2003 Act being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this 2003 Act takes effect July 1, 2003.
