Chapter 729 Oregon Laws 2003

 

AN ACT

Relating to state financial administration; and declaring an emergency.

 

Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:

 

          SECTION 1. For the purpose of carrying out the provisions of ORS 291.055 (1)(e), the following new or increased fees, adopted by the Department of Human Services and approved by the Oregon Department of Administrative Services, are approved:

 

      (1)    Office of Public Health Systems:

      (a)    In-home care initial

              licensing fee.......................................     $          500

      (b)    In-home care annual

              licensing fee.......................................     $          350

      (2)    Oregon State Cancer Registry:

      (a)    Data linkage:

      (A)   Base fee, up to 1,000

              records...............................................     $          750

      (B)   Each additional 1,000

              records, for 2,000-10,000

              records...............................................     $         100

      (C)   Each additional 10,000 records.........     $          100

      (b)    Case lists:

      (A)   Programming/processing fee,

              up to 50,000 cases.............................     $         750

      (B)   Each additional 10,000 cases............     $          100

      (C)   Additional variable

              calculation .........................................     $          750

      (D)   Additional variable editing................     $          750

      (c)    Geocoding lists:

      (A)   Base fee, up to 1,000 cases..............     $       1,500

      (B)   Each additional 1,000 cases,

              for 2,000-10,000 cases......................     $          200

      (C)   Each additional 10,000 cases............     $          200

      (3)    Public Health Laboratory;

              Oregon Environmental Laboratory

              Accreditation Program:

      (a)    Out-of-state laboratories

              annual application fee:

      (A)   Tier 1..................................................     $       1,250

      (B)   Tier 2..................................................     $       2,000

      (C)   Tier 3..................................................     $       3,000

      (b)    Moderate field of testing:

      (A)   First program.....................................     $          350

      (B)   Each additional program...................     $            40

      (c)    Complex field of testing:

      (A)   First program.....................................     $          500

      (B)   Each additional program...................     $            75

      (d)    On-site trip fee:

      (A)   Tier 2..................................................     $          500

      (B)   Tier 3..................................................     $       1,000

      (e)    Newborn screening test fee:

      (A)   Single specimen test kit....................     $            27

      (B)   Double specimen test kit..................     $            54

 

          SECTION 2. This 2003 Act being necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health and safety, an emergency is declared to exist, and this 2003 Act takes effect on July 1, 2003.
