AN ACT
Relating to billing by State Department of Agriculture; amending
ORS 561.410.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1. ORS 561.410 is amended to read:
561.410. (1) The State Department of Agriculture { - , in its
discretion, - } may grant credit for services and materials
furnished pursuant to the { - provisions of all laws under its
jurisdiction - } { + laws administered by the department + }.
(2) { - Except where due dates or other credit procedures are
otherwise established by law, the department shall establish a
uniform monthly date on which the department shall forward to the
person responsible for payment of services and materials, an
itemized statement thereof. - } { + The department shall
prepare an itemized invoice of the services and materials
furnished by the department and send the invoice to the person
responsible for payment. + } The amount owing by { - such - }
{ + the + } person is due and payable to the department
{ - within 15 days - } { + on or before the 30th day + } after
the date { - established under this subsection - } { + of the
invoice + }.
