contractor or business owner in trades regulated under state

Board, Board of Boiler Rules or State Plumbing Board to have
combination of + } licenses, certificates { + , registrations + }
and authorizations { - with single license - } { + issued or
renewed simultaneously + }.
A BILL FOR AN ACT
Relating to licensing of building code trades.
Be It Enacted by the People of the State of Oregon:
SECTION 1. { + Section 2 of this 2003 Act is added to and made
a part of ORS chapter 455. + }
SECTION 2. { + (1) The Director of the Department of Consumer
and Business Services, with the approval of the appropriate
advisory boards, shall establish a system that allows a
contractor or business possessing two or more licenses,
certificates, registrations or other authorizations described in
subsection (2) of this section to have an approved combination of
those licenses, certificates, registrations and other
authorizations issued or renewed simultaneously.
(2) Notwithstanding any issuance or renewal dates established
under ORS 479.510 to 479.945 and 480.510 to 480.670 and this
chapter and ORS chapters 447 and 460, subsection (1) of this
section applies to contractor or business licenses, certificates,
registrations or other authorizations by the Electrical and
Elevator Board, the Board of Boiler Rules or the State Plumbing
Board.
(3) The director shall establish rules to implement the system
described in this section. The rules must establish the
combinations of licenses, certificates, registrations and other
authorizations for which a simultaneous issuance or renewal is
offered, the term and expiration date for the combination, the
appropriate fees for administering the system, the criteria for
issuance and renewal and the other standards and criteria deemed
by the Department of Consumer and Business Services to be
necessary to administer and enforce the system. + }
