  On page 1 of the printed concurrent resolution, after line 1,
insert:
  ' Whereas former member of the Oregon House of Representatives
Benjamin (Kip) Lombard Jr. died March 27, 2003, at 62 years of
age; and'.
  In line 2, delete 'Benjamin (Kip)' and insert 'Kip' and delete
'Jr.'.
  In line 7, delete 'is' and insert 'was'.
  In line 8, delete 'has'.
  In line 14, delete 'has shown' and insert 'showed'.
  In line 29, delete 'has'.
  On page 2, line 5, delete 'has' and insert 'had'.
  Delete lines 8 through 15 and insert:
  ' That we, the members of the Seventy-second Legislative
Assembly, mourn the passing of former state Representative
Benjamin (Kip) Lombard Jr., extend our condolences to his family
and express our sincere appreciation for his honest hard work,
sense of fairness and generous help for others without concern
for recognition or recompense; and be it further
  ' Resolved, That a copy of this resolution be presented to our
late colleague's wife, Bernadette, his children, Christopher, Ian
and Russell, and his grandson, Samuel Benjamin, as an expression
of the esteem in which we hold the memory of former state
Representative Benjamin (Kip) Lombard Jr.'.
