  Urges Congress to adopt resolution proposing amendment to
Constitution of United States to protect rights of crime victims.
 
                         JOINT MEMORIAL
To the Senate and the House of Representatives of the United
  States of America, in Congress assembled:
  We, your memorialists, the Seventy-second Legislative Assembly
of the State of Oregon, in legislative session assembled,
respectfully represent as follows:
Be It Resolved by the Legislative Assembly of the State of
  Oregon:
  (1) The Congress of the United States of America is urged to
adopt Senate Joint Resolution 1 of the 1st Session of the 108th
Congress, which proposes an amendment to the Constitution of the
United States to protect the rights of crime victims.
  (2) A copy of this memorial shall be sent to each member of the
Oregon Congressional Delegation.
