  On page 1 of the printed bill, line 6, before 'The' insert '
(1)'.
  In line 7, after 'or' insert 'to'.
  Delete lines 9 and 10 and insert:
  ' (a) For compliance with land use planning statutes, statewide
land use planning goals and administrative rules corresponding to
the statutes and goals, in the same manner as a comprehensive
plan for purposes of:'.
  In line 11, delete '(a)' and insert '(A)'.
  In line 12, delete '(b)' and insert '(B)'.
  In line 13, delete '(2)' and insert '(b)'.
  After line 13, insert:
  ' (2) With the prior consent of the Land Conservation and
Development Commission, Metro may submit to the Department of
Land Conservation and Development an amendment to the Metro
regional framework plan or to a component of the regional
framework plan in the manner provided for periodic review under
ORS 197.628 to 197.650, if the amendment implements a program to
meet the requirements of a land use planning statute, a statewide
land use planning goal or an administrative rule corresponding to
a statute or goal.'.
  On page 3, line 35, delete 'a grants' and insert 'an'.
  In line 36, after 'composed' insert ', at a minimum,'.

  In line 39, delete 'award' and insert 'allocation'.

  On page 6, line 35, after 'commission' delete the rest of the

  On page 7, line 6, delete 'valid' and insert 'timely'.

  In line 26, after the comma delete the rest of the line and
