  In line 6 of the printed joint resolution, after the comma
insert 'and the vacancy is due to the death or physical or mental
incapacity of the candidate,'.
  Delete lines 7 and 8 and insert:
  ' (1) The regularly scheduled election for that public office
may be postponed;'.
