SUMMARY
The following summary is not prepared by the sponsors of the

Proposes amendment to Oregon Constitution to authorize laws
limiting or prohibiting person younger than 21 years of age from
viewing nudity and sexual activity. Authorizes defining nudity
and sexual activity.
Refers proposed amendment to people for their approval or
rejection at next regular general election.
JOINT RESOLUTION
Be It Resolved by the Legislative Assembly of the State of
Oregon:
PARAGRAPH 1. The Constitution of the State of Oregon is amended
by creating a new section 34 to be added to and made a part of
Article IV, such section to read:
{ + SECTION 34. + } { + Notwithstanding section 8, Article I
of this Constitution, the Legislative Assembly, or the people
through the initiative process, may enact laws:
(1) Limiting or prohibiting a person under the age of 21 years
from viewing nudity and sexual activity.
(2) Defining nudity and sexual activity for purposes of this
section. + }
PARAGRAPH 2. { + The amendment proposed by this resolution
shall be submitted to the people for their approval or rejection
at the next regular general election held throughout this
state. + }
